LCR Electronics’ new 095 EMI filters reduce component cost, while providing better safety characteristics in laundry equipment and other white goods. The filters use metalized film capacitors that deliver high reliability and fail-safe characteristics similar to expensive, older technologies such as impregnated paper capacitors. The filters eliminate short circuit occurrences, reducing the chance of fire, while ensuring constant power.

FREE DOWNLOAD: Langer EMC-Technique company has developed new active magnetic near field probes with high solution and frequency range to 6 GHz. They have the best solution for pre-compliance non-contacted HF-measurement over IC-pins or signal tracks. The inside diameter of probe loop type MF-K is 100 µm. Therefore we include a pre-amplifier near the probe head. The measurement results of type MFA-K are high sensitive (-80dBµV).

Does anyone know the outcome of the battle between Sirius (satellite radio) and Fusion (microwave light-bulb) battle? I have just come across information about the issue but have not found what the FCC decided to do about the problem. Sirius wanted a 99.9% reduction in uWave emissions, while Fusion offered a 90% reduction (I guess that is a 30dB wanted reduction with 10dB on offer) What happened?

FREE DOWNLOAD: RF Power Costs Money; How Much Do You Really Need?

RF power amplifiers are probably the least understood and poorly treated assets in your laboratory. This article will explain the basics of how to select your amplifier for a given test application. We will walk through the basic steps that determine the minimum RF output power required to reliably develop the field strength that your test requires.
